Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation is turning 40!

2026 will be the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation’s 40th anniversary.  Over this time, more than 50,000 young people have benefitted from the Arundel programme. For four decades, we’ve supported communities across London and West Sussex, using cricket, outdoor learning and enrichment to open doors and inspire change.

We’re incredibly proud and excited to be celebrating this milestone year, which will include a range of special events alongside the launch of a bold new strategy focused on tackling inequality of opportunity for young people.

Celebrating our 40th anniversary with the ACCF Alumni

As we approach our 40th year, we’ve asked a few friends in our Alumni network to share what ACCF means to them.  Our trustee and MCC Board member, Arfan Akram, recently became the first of our Alumni to share his own inspiring story when he met up with the Director of ACCF, Tim Shutt.

Arfan reflected on how his first visit to ACCF on a residential trip from Walthamstow, aged 10,  shaped his journey, both personally and professionally, and shares insights from his current roles in cricket.

WATCH ARFAN’S INTERVIEW HERE

We’ll be sharing more reflections and messages from past participants, including some familiar faces, in the months ahead.

Were you once part of an ACCF programme? We’d love to hear from you!

Stories like Arfan’s show just how lasting and meaningful the ACCF experience can be and we know there are many more stories out there.  If you’ve been an ACCF participant, past or present, we’d love to know how your time at Arundel impacted or inspired you. Please get in touch or share your ACCF story by dropping us a line at foundation@arundelcastlecricket.co.uk or complete our short form and we will be in touch.
