Change of Chair at ACCF

The Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation can announce that David Kidd has stepped down from his role as Chair.

On the 13th May 2026 the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation held its 41st AGM, 8 short weeks after the most uplifting and inspiring celebration of its 40th anniversary at the Barons Hall, Arundel Castle, by the kind permission of the Duke and Duchess of Norfolk.

At that AGM the Foundation’s Chair, David Kidd, as he had already foreshadowed, formally stepped down from this role. He has served the Foundation for 3 years in which he has overseen the successful delivery of 2023-25 Strategy and the development of our 2026-28 Strategy, at the heart of which is our continued commitment to boosting inclusion, inspiring education and improving mental and physical health by giving young people the tools and confidence they need to learn, grow and succeed.

We are hugely grateful to David for the passion, energy and drive which has characterised his tenure, and are delighted that he will remain involved with the Foundation in a variety of ways in the years ahead.

Whilst we undertake the formal process of appointing a new Chair, we are pleased to announce that Rob Mason, the Chair of our Fundraising Advisory Board, will act as Interim Chair.
