We are organising another charity cycle ride this year, on Friday 2nd July, to raise awareness and funds for the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation.
We are planning a terrific day and look forward to welcoming 100 cyclists to join us for a day of cycling, fun and fundraising in the beautiful West Sussex countryside. The 45 mile circular ride will start at 9.30am from the Arundel Castle Cricket Club ground (BN18 9BA). Cyclists should aim to arrive from 8.30am for registration and a light breakfast.
We will cycle through picturesque countryside to Lurgashall (another lovely cricket ground) in time for lunch at the Noah’s Ark, which will be served from 12pm before returning to Arundel via a different route. Tea will be available at Arundel from 3.30pm and there will be a cash bar.
If you can sort the logistics, just doing part of the ride to or from Lurgashall could also be fun. Friends and families will also be very welcome to join us for lunch at the Noah’s Ark. Electric bikes are absolutely allowed!
By riding in the ACCF cycle you’ll be taking on a challenge to be proud of and making a huge difference to the lives of young people who most need our help. Entry can be secured by a suggested voluntary donation of £50 but we would be delighted if you wish to support us by donating more. All costs of the day, including breakfast, lunch and tea will be kindly covered by Blackwood Group (www.blackwoodgroup.com) so 100% of your donation will go towards supporting the work of Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation.
Full event and registration details will follow soon, so for now we’d like to see how many of our supporters would be interested in taking part this year. To register your interest and receive more information about the event in due course please email email@example.com
The event will be run in accordance with the latest Government guidelines to ensure a Covid safe and enjoyable day.
