A Fond Farewell

A long-serving teacher, from a partner London school, with over 40 years of experience working in teaching or in youth services in some of the most deprived and diverse communities in North London, made a very pertinent comment this year. Whilst he was typically complimentary about our home, he was very clear in his view that it is the quality of our coaches that really makes the difference to our programmes.

And for that reason, it is with great sadness we say goodbye to three retiring coaches who between them have given over 75 years of combined service to the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation. We are hugely indebted to the efforts of Brian Towner, Chris Fletcher and Richard Davies. Their wisdom and skills, all of which go way beyond the sport of cricket, have had a positive impact on the lives of tens of thousands of young people, all from a hugely diverse range of backgrounds, and all of whom with very different abilities. They will be sorely missed and will always be welcome back at Arundel.

A recruitment campaign is currently underway to ensure we have the highly skilled workforce required to deliver our programmes.
