What are Play Zones and Multi-Sports Coaching Sessions?
Play Zones and Multi-Sports coaching sessions are free, fun and inclusive outdoor activities especially created for families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Both activities take place on the outfield of Arundel Castle Cricket Ground and are fully compliant with the latest COVID-19 Government advice.
Play Zones
Families can book a zoned-off, safe, private space within the Arundel Castle Cricket Ground to spend time together and play outdoors in a peaceful and picturesque surrounding. We provide various sports equipment or families can bring their own and do whatever they choose within their own zone.
Multi-Sports Coaching
Families can book a coach led multi-sports activity session with a qualified and DBS checked coach at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground. Activities are for small groups of up to 4 people or for same household family groups – all ages and abilities are welcome. Equipment will not be shared, and all coach led activities are in line with COVID secure guidance.
How do the activities help young people?
Play Zones and Multi-Sports at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground have been introduced to provide respite and relaxation for families during the lockdown. We know how important it is to be active for good physical and mental health and we understand that for many families with a child or young person with a learning or physical disability, the lockdown can make them feel cut off and isolated. Through our activities we hope to provide families with a safe place in which to get active outdoors and enjoy valuable family time in a beautiful countryside setting, in a way that complies with the latest COVID-19 Government advice.
Where and when?
FREE EASTER HOLIDAY MULTI-SPORTS CAMP 2021
Free Easter activities for SEND families on the outfield of Arundel Castle Cricket Ground. Private, safe play zone for each family with adjacent parking. We provide various sports equipment and families can either:
play and relax together in their own zone or;
book one of our qualified and DBS checked Coaches to run a multi-sports activity session for their family (within their own zone).

Whilst sessions are free of charge, we welcome donations to ACCF.
