We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting our annual ACCF Charity Cycle Ride on Wednesday 1st July to raise awareness and funds for the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation. This year will be a very special charity ride as we will be celebrating 40 years of the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation. We hope to have 120 riders taking part in the 45 mile ride to raise funds to help us reach and inspire more young people through the magic of cricket and outdoor adventure at Arundel Castle. Riders in the ACCF Cycle ride will be taking on a challenge to be proud of and making a huge difference to the lives of young people who face inequality of opportunity or disadvantage.
As you may remember from previous years, this is a great day of cycling, fun, food, sunshine and fundraising in the beautiful West Sussex countryside. The route is a 45-mile circular ride departing from the Arundel Castle Cricket Ground after a light breakfast, heading through the picturesque countryside to Lurgashall in time for lunch at the Noah’s Ark pub, before returning to Arundel via a different route for afternoon tea. Electric bikes are allowed and details on where to hire them from will be given in due course. The spaces are again limited to 120 riders this year.
Registration will be opening soon. To pre-register your interest in taking part please email: foundation@arundelcastlecricket.co.uk
Entry can be secured by a suggested voluntary donation (amount TBC) and we would be delighted if you wish to support us by donating more. As a reminder of what we do, and what your donations will go towards, please watch the following video clip of our 2025 review: ACCF Review Film of 2025
All costs of the day, including breakfast, lunch and tea will be kindly covered by Blackwood Group so 100% of your donation will go towards supporting the work of Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation.
Donations in support of this event can be made either via the JustGiving Page or alternative ways (please indicate your preferred way in the registration form).
This is a great event made by great riders, so please do come along and spread the word amongst your friends!
