At ACCF we are proud to use the power of cricket and our unique historic setting for social good, and to enhance the health and wellbeing of young people.
This week we hosted a Disability Cricket Day, welcoming over 120 people from across Sussex for a fun-filled day of cricket, food, and friendships. The initiative provides people with disabilities a space to enjoy themselves outside in the open, and our unique setting is the perfect place.
The importance of days like this cannot be underestimated as for some, this was their first trip out since before the COVID-19 pandemic, so over two years. With that being the case, we were absolutely thrilled to see everyone getting stuck in and having such a great time playing cricket, and experiencing a long day out in the sun.
Our guests came from all parts of West Sussex including the Aldingbourne Trust, Apuldram Centre, and Brinsbury College who are from Chichester; the Burnside Day Centre from Burgess Hill, and The Strawford Centre and Christ’s Hospital School from Horsham.
Head to our Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages to see snaps and videos from the day.
